I will act with integrity, honesty and openness in everything I do for, and with you. I am available by telephone or email from 8am to 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday and Friday 8am to 2pm. If I am unavailable you may leave a message and I will endeavour to return your telephone calls, or emails, within 24 working hours. I will send you a reminder text message or phone call prior to your appointment if possible. I will be upfront about my fees. Consultations are apx 55 minutes duration, unless decided otherwise between us. Telephone calls or emails between sessions, requiring longer than 15 minutes, will be debited pro-rata against your account. Written reports are available , cost of which is negotiated between us prior to writing. Usually I will ask for payment prior to writing the report. Counselling fees are not refundable through medi-care. Depending on your type of cover, Medibank Private customers may be eligible for a refund with the use of my provider number. Consultations related to your employment may be tax deductible. I will keep everything you say strictly confidential within this practice, unless - you have given me permission to speak to others - I need to speak to helping professionals with whom you are working - I am required to do so by law - I believe you are at risk of harming yourself or harming others. I will retain our session notes but will shred these after 7 years I will be open to your feedback and will use it to adjust my approach.
